Getting Started
How do I apply to become a founding merchant?
Fill out our application form with your business information. It takes under 2 minutes. We review every application personally and respond within 2-3 business days. You'll need basic details like your business name, Ontario address, contact information, and business category.
What types of businesses can join?
We're launching with five categories: Food & Drink (restaurants, cafes, bars), Beauty & Spas (salons, wellness), Health & Fitness (gyms, yoga, classes), Things To Do (experiences, activities), and Travel & Getaways (hotels, packages). You must have a physical location in Ontario.
Is there an approval process?
Yes. We review every application individually, which typically takes 48-72 hours. Sometimes we'll reach out for more details or to hop on a quick call.
Are there any upfront costs or monthly fees?
No. Zero upfront costs, zero monthly fees, no long-term contracts. You only pay a commission when customers actually redeem their vouchers at your location. If no one shows up, you pay nothing.
How It Works
What is the redemption-based model?
Unlike traditional voucher platforms that take a cut when customers purchase, we only charge commission when customers actually redeem at your location. This means every commission you pay represents a real customer who walked through your door, not just a voucher sitting unused in someone's inbox.
How do customer rewards work?
When a customer redeems their voucher at your business, they get a gift card reward sent to their email. That gives them a reason to come back. We fund the gift card as part of the platform, so it doesn't cost you anything extra.
How do I verify voucher redemptions?
When a customer arrives, they show their voucher (on their phone or printed). You verify it through our app by scanning a QR code or entering a short code. The redemption is logged instantly, and the customer receives their gift card reward.
Do campaigns go live immediately?
Not right away. We review all campaigns before they go live, which typically takes 48-72 hours. We check for quality and accuracy, then send you an email once your campaign is approved.
Pricing & Payments
How does pricing work?
Commission rates are discussed individually during your application process. Rates vary by business category and are negotiated based on your specific situation. As a founding merchant, your rate is locked in permanently. Even if we change pricing later, you keep your original rate.
When and how do I get paid?
After a customer redeems, payouts go through Stripe and land in your bank account within 2-7 business days. You can see every transaction in your merchant dashboard.
What payment methods do customers use?
Credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets. Everything runs through Stripe, so you never touch customer payment info.
What if a customer doesn't redeem their voucher?
You pay nothing. You only pay commission when customers actually show up and redeem. If a voucher goes unused, it costs you zero.
Creating Campaigns
How do I create my first campaign?
Our campaign builder walks you through each step: add your business details, upload photos, create your offers with pricing, set terms and conditions, and submit for review. The process takes about 10-15 minutes.
Can I edit campaigns after they're submitted?
You can update campaign details, photos, and descriptions while in review. Once live, some changes (like pricing) may require re-approval to ensure fairness to customers who have already purchased.
How will customers find my campaigns?
We're building this together. As a founding merchant, you'll be among the first businesses customers see when we launch in Ontario. We'll also promote campaigns through email marketing and local channels as we grow the customer base.
